Spotlight on Subaru

Welcome to the Subaru spotlight – an area where we can showcase the best parts from the most famous tuning houses in Japan, and uncover all those hidden jems from the famous rising sun underground scene. We will use this space to showcase selected cars and give you the opportunity to submit your car for a showcase spot each month – all you need to do is email an image of your car to matt@eu.tougedistribution.com with a break down of all your mods. Cars need to be visually impressive but we want to know about performance – so make sure you tell us all the stats.

STI

Subaru Tecnica International or STI are the best known Subaru tuners. Its rare to go to a meet and see a Subaru without an STI sticker somewhere on it. From their rally heritage they have proven themselves a dab hand at race-prepping Subaru’s boxer engine. Their huge bore exhausts are a favourite with most tuners and their top mounted intercoolers do a great job of keeping things cool making the most of the air drawn in through those huge Subaru bonnet scoops!

Cusco
If its improved handling you need, then look no further than Cusco. With their wide range of stabiliser bars, roll cages, bushes, suspension arms and fully adjustable dampers you are sure to feel a lot more in control of your car as it is guaranteed to feel a lot tighter!

Fujitsubo
If you want better flowing exhausts then you wouldn’t be wrong in giving Fujitsubo a look in. Their exhausts are hugely well known for being of very high quality and providing significant gains in performance. Companies such as Autech (A Nissan insider) chose Fujitsubo exhausts for their special edition Silvia over Nismo…that says something! Whether it is headers you are after or a full exhaust system, definately give them a look! You will be hard pushed to find a more straight through system than their Legalis system!

Endless
Spent a lot of time making your Subaru go faster!? Why not try and slow it a bit faster with some Endless brakes? Endless may not be as well known as the likes of Brembo, but in the D1 GP over in Japan they are first choice for many. Whether its pads, lines, discs…or full on race ready 6 pot systems, you can rest assured that you have stopping power up there with the best of them!
